As lawmakers and group leaders reeled after a mass shootings claimed 20 in El Paso, President Donald Trump was once pictured playing his weekend holiday.

Trump arrived at Trump Nationwide Golfing Membership on Friday night time, in keeping with White Space pool experiences. Hours after 20 other folks have been killed and 26 injured after a gunman opened hearth in an El Paso Walmart, Trump was pictured greeting visitors at a wedding in the membership.

The shooter in El Paso was arrested, and authorities are investigating whether an anti-immigrant manifesto that was posted online prior to the taking pictures was once written by means of the shooter.

On NBC's "Meet the click," New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker told host Chuck Todd that Trump's general condemnations of the attack weren't enough.

"to say not anything in a time of emerging hatred, it is not sufficient to say 'I'm now not a hate monger myself,'" Booker mentioned. "When You are not actively operating in opposition to hate, calling it out, you might be complicit in what's happening."

Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown criticized President Donald Trump for what he known as his "divisive, racist rhetoric that he has employed an increasing number of."

"I do understand that we have now had two presidents, the two preceding presidents who handled negative terrorism and mass shootings and attempted to heal and this president doesn't," Brown said on "State of the Union."

Trump did not instantly respond to the Sunday morning comments. He Is scheduled to spend the day golfing till FOUR p.m. sooner than leaving for Washington.
