Man live-streams his suicide on Facebook after ex-girlfriend got engaged

Shyam Sikarwar, 22, also known as Raj, took his own life live on Facebook in a temple in the village of Raybha, near Agra, India. He left a lengthy suicide note in which he apologised to his family and told them to donate his organs. Shyam’s note said: ‘I miss her and can’t live without her. I can’t bear the fact that she is getting married to someone else. The stress of losing her has affected me so much that I lost my job.’ His body was discovered in the temple over the weekend after locals were alerted to the footage. Police spokesman said: ‘The victim’s body was found hanging inside the temple premises by local residents.
